Cast of Texas-shot film “Texas Rhapsody” to attend meet and greet in Fort Stockton

Cast members from the Texas-made film “Texas Rhapsody” will gather with community members for a meet and greet ahead of a local premiere event in Fort Stockton.

The pre-show event is scheduled for March 28 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Centennial Bar & Lounge, located at 123 N. Main St. Organizers say the gathering is open to cast, crew and the public, offering an opportunity to meet those involved in the production before the screening.

“Texas Rhapsody” is an independently produced film shot across West Texas, including locations such as Fort Stockton and surrounding communities. The project highlights regional stories and features participation from local residents, blending community voices with cinematic storytelling.

Following the meet and greet, the film is expected to be showcased at Fort Stockton Community Theatre, where the premiere will bring together audiences from across the region.

Events tied to locally produced films have increasingly drawn attention in rural Texas communities, where productions often rely on local talent and support. Organizers say the March 28 gathering is intended to celebrate that collaboration while giving residents a chance to engage directly with the filmmakers and cast.
