The Mexican Consulate in Presidio recently hosted informational talks for students from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, focusing on the prevention of gender-based violence and the services available through Mexico’s consular network.
The presentations were organized as part of activities recognizing International Women’s Day and were delivered through the consulate’s #TuConsulado outreach initiative. Students gathered in a classroom setting to hear presentations from consular staff and participate in discussions about recognizing and preventing gender violence.
Officials said the talks also highlighted resources available to Mexican nationals through consular services and emphasized the importance of awareness and support networks for young people.
The consulate thanked local educational institutions in Ojinaga for providing space and collaborating to bring the program to the student community.
