Wright Hardware Co. has expanded its rental inventory, adding new equipment and event-related items aimed at supporting construction projects, community events, and private gatherings across the Big Bend region.
The locally owned hardware business, located in Study Butte, now offers a broader range of short- and long-term rentals, including heavy machinery, tools, and event infrastructure. According to materials shared by the Big Bend Chamber of Commerce, the expanded lineup is designed to make it easier for residents, contractors, and event organizers to complete projects without traveling long distances for equipment.
Newly available rental items include a Kubota M62 backhoe tractor, tilt trailer, concrete mixer, jackhammer, and trash pump, along with event tents, tables, and chairs. Rentals are available on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, with delivery offered for an additional fee.
In addition to construction equipment, Wright Hardware has expanded into event rentals, adding folding tables and chairs suitable for weddings, family reunions, fundraisers, and community events. According to posted rental information, tables rent for $8 per day, while chairs are available for $2 per day, with limited inventory available.
The expansion reflects growing demand for local access to equipment in the Study Butte–Terlingua area, where contractors and residents often face logistical challenges sourcing machinery and event supplies.
