Live Nativity Returns to Kokernot Lodge Dec. 19–21

A live Nativity will be held December 19–21 at 7 p.m. each evening at Kokernot Lodge, located off Loop Road behind the Sul Ross State University Outdoor Theatre.

The annual event features a walk-through Nativity scene and will include Carl the Camel, along with shepherds, angels, scribes, and other traditional roles. Refreshments will be served each night, and the event is open to all ages.

Community members who would like to participate in the Nativity are welcome to do so. Costumes are provided, and no lines or memorization are required. Participants should meet at the Outdoor Theatre Prop Barn between 6 and 6:30 p.m. to robe up before each performance.

Those interested in participating can call Karen at 386-3071 for more information.

The Live Nativity is sponsored by Michael’s Mountain Ministry. Sul Ross State University and the Texas State University System do not sponsor or endorse the event.
