Reeves County Library Hosts Story Time and Play-Doh Extravaganza for Families

Families in Pecos are in for a treat this week as the Reeves County Library hosts its much-anticipated Story Time & Play-Doh Extravaganza. This fun and educational event will take place on Monday, January 15, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at the library located at 315 S. Oak St., Pecos, TX.

An Afternoon of Stories and Creativity

The event combines engaging storytelling sessions with hands-on Play-Doh activities, designed to spark creativity and inspire a love of reading in young children. Story Time features entertaining tales that capture imaginations, while the Play-Doh activities encourage children to explore, create, and have fun.

This interactive experience is part of the library’s ongoing efforts to support early childhood education and provide enriching opportunities for local families.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Sign-Up

In addition to the event activities, families will have the opportunity to register for the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that provides free monthly books to children from birth to age five. Launched in Reeves County in December, the program has already gained popularity as a valuable resource for encouraging early literacy.

Community Engagement Through Education

The Reeves County Library is committed to creating programs that foster a love of learning and bring families together. The Story Time & Play-Doh Extravaganza exemplifies this mission by providing a space where children can develop their creativity and parents can connect with resources that support their child’s education.

The library encourages families to attend and take advantage of this exciting event. For more information, visit the library’s website at reevescountylibrary.com.
