2025 Pecos County Livestock Show and Dance Scheduled for Early January

The Pecos County Livestock Show Association is gearing up for its annual event, which showcases the hard work and dedication of local 4-H and FFA members. The 2025 Pecos County Livestock Show is set to take place on January 9-10, with a premium sale following on January 11 at the Pecos County Coliseum in Fort Stockton, Texas.

This annual event, a staple in the community, supports youth livestock projects and leadership development within the livestock industry. Participants from various local 4-H and FFA chapters will display their livestock projects, competing for prizes and the opportunity to sell their animals at the premium sale, which often draws significant local and regional interest.

The festivities will culminate on Saturday, January 11, with an all-day event that includes the much-anticipated Pecos County Livestock Show & Dance. Held at the Pecos County Coliseum, located at 1618 Airport Drive, this event offers a day full of activities, livestock viewing, and a celebratory dance, providing a perfect ending to the show.

The Pecos County Livestock Show & Dance not only highlights the achievements of young agriculturalists but also serves as a vital platform for promoting the agricultural traditions of West Texas. The event is a key opportunity for community members to engage with and support the next generation of farmers and ranchers.
