On Saturday, Oct. 12, Christina Hernandez and Koyana Flotte hosted an engaging workshop for the PHS Art Club, introducing students to the traditional pottery techniques of the Concho People. During the session, students learned how to prepare clay by mixing waterbed clay with sand, a method historically used by the Concho. Under the guidance of Hernandez and Flotte, participants kneaded the clay by hand until it became workable, gaining hands-on experience with an important aspect of Concho heritage.
